Finally, another addition to Rugby 20 is "Challenges" mode which enables players to look at some challenges and complete them for "SP" points and also to level up (player`s profile). With recruitments, you can then set up a team that can be used against CPU players, can be used online and can even be used in "Solo" mode with players also now being able to customise their team`s logo, kit and ball. Additionally, "Collection" mode similar to FIFA 20`s Ultimate Team Market is a mode that is connected to "Solo" mode, where you can buy and recruit players using booster cards which in turn are bought with "SP" points earned from matches. Further more the game features a "Solo" mode which is a second new addition to Rugby 20 where you can take any team from the D3 Gaul Division to the Elite Gaul Division or take a team from the Celtic Championship - Development Division to the Celtic Championship - Star Division by hiring staff, training player`s abilities and playing friendlies for extra budget to ultimately succeed in getting promoted into a higher division.
"Training" mode is another game mode (which is new to Rugby 20) that enables players to practise set-plays, tackling, passing, kicking etc.

In the game, it is possible to play a quick match alone or with another person using the same console as well as playing online against strangers or friends using teams from any of the licensed competitions such as Pro14, Top 14, Pro D2, Gallagher Premiership and national teams.
